Dear IANPHI Colleagues,
On behalf of the IANPHI Executive Board, Secretariat Main Office, and US Office, it is my pleasure to welcome you to Rome and IANPHI’s 2017 Annual Meeting. We thank Professor Gualtiero Ricciardi and his staff at Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS; National Institute of Health) for generously hosting this year’s gathering.
The meeting program includes an engaging mix of plenary presentations and smaller, interactive working sessions that will provide wide-ranging opportunities for information exchange, discussion, and strategy development for IANPHI’s second decade. As always, the event is an unparalleled opportunity for you to meet with other NPHI directors and partners from around the world, share insights and experiences, and create opportunities for collaboration and building of relationships across regions and around the globe.
We are honored to be hosted in Rome, Italy. With a history spanning more than 2,500 years, Italy’s capital is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Its treasured monuments and masterpieces of art and architecture, along with its rich historical and religious heritage and cosmopolitan atmosphere, attract millions of tourists each year. Our ISS hosts have made all of the arrangements to make your stay in Rome enjoyable, comfortable, and enlightening.
I want to thank you for attending our annual meeting and bringing your expertise to our gathering. As NPHI leaders and partners, you have the vision, knowledge, and experience to help us frame IANPHI’s future. We hope you enjoy the meeting and your stay in Rome.
